Diponegoro University (Undip) Semarang is challenged to be the centre of entrepreneurship in Central Java. This challenge is possible to be met as Undip has provided curriculum that shapes the students’s mental, attitude, and skills. Andalas University, Padang, Sumatera Barat has done it; hence, Undip will also be able to do it easier. Moreover, Undip’s rector really emphasizes the importance of entrepreneurship for the students.

Diponegoro University (Undip) inaugurates three professors; they are Prof Dr Muchamad Syafruddin MSi and Prof Dr Drs Purbayu Budi Santosa MS (from Economic Faculty) and Prof Dr Ir Ambariyanto MSc (from Faculty of Fisheries and Marine Science).
